A space for those who refuse to stay spiritually asleep
Over the past 100 years, theological education in North America has largely emphasized theological encyclopedic knowledge and pastoral ministry skills. This has resulted in a fragmented model of theological training. In June 2020, the Association of Theological Schools (ATS) in the U.S. and Canada approved new accreditation standards for seminaries, adding two key components: humanity and spirituality. This marked a shift toward whole-person theological education and a commitment to lifelong learning.
However, the formation of believers’ lives and the growth of their spiritual maturity cannot wait for seminaries to train a new generation of graduates. In light of this, Morning Star Awakening Center offers relevant courses and seminars to help willing believers understand, engage in, and participate in spiritual formation—and to support the development of such ministries within the church.
